Equinox formed a partnership with the USFS, NCFS, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, WNCA, and MVRC&D, with a mission to inventory, control, and monitor invasive exotic plants within the AT corridor in the Southern Appalachians and to engage volunteers in doing so. By partnering with local, state, and federal agencies, we overcome boundaries that invasive plants do not adhere to, therby increasing our collective capacity to detect and control infestations across borders.
