Client: Hunting Creek Partnership & Western Piedmont Community College
As a result of the Hunting Creek Watershed Plan (created by Equinox) that identified the need for stormwater treatment at Western Piedmont Community College; Stormwater Control Measures (SCM) were installed through a design/build effort to provide a model on campus of how to treat stormwater. Equinox crafted the design and oversaw construction of three (3) SCMs to remove pollutant loads associated with the adjacent parking as well as reducing peak velocities from the runoff that were causing strain on the receiving forest, creating deep channelized ditches and gullies.
