VOLUNTEERING TIME TO FOSTER ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Equinox designer Dena Chandler recently volunteered time to develop a master plan for an early education, nature centered school. A master plan is a comprehensive, graphic plan that will provide a long-range vision to aid in the planning process as well as fundraising efforts for the property. Woodson Branch Nature School is a new school located between Hot Springs and Marshall in Madison County that has core values that align well with Equinox’ own company values – to promote environmental stewardship and help to foster a meaningful relationship with nature. Equinox volunteered design services to aid in incorporating these core values while also harnessing the incredible natural attributes of the 30-acre site, located adjacent to Pisgah National Forest. The school will open its doors to K-2nd grade students this fall.
