Equinox has worked with nearly a dozen state and federal agency partners and trained almost 100 individuals in the southern Appalachians on invasive exotic species survey and monitoring protocols and management techniques. Equinox coordinated all aspects of this program – from planning the project, recruiting citizen and partner participation, coordinating partner involvement, securing funding, managing the data collected by volunteers, to generating maps and other meaningful informational outputs.
