The objective of this 9-element watershed action plan that will result in reduced sediment loads in the North Toe River and removal of 20 miles of the river from North Carolina's 303(d) impaired waters list. Data from water samples, stream walks, windshield surveys, and GIS analyses will be used to identify potential project locations in targeted sub-watersheds.
