Client: Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians
Equinox conducted trout and large stream surveys to determine the health of the fish communities by electrofishing using 3-pass depletion and TVA fish index of biotic integrity methodologies. The trout stream data were analyzed to estimate population sizes, densities, and standing crops; a technical report was prepared. In addition, benthic macroinvertebrates were collected from brook trout streams for future analysis.
