Equinox has joined Friends of Connect Buncombe as a partner with a generous donation to support the development of greenways and trails in Buncombe County. “We value the communities we live and work in and, as a company and individuals, we believe in giving back to those communities. We believe that environmental health and community health go hand in hand and support the efforts of Friends of Connect Buncombe, which is working to shape our community and make a difference by connecting Buncombe County through greenways and trails for future generations, said David Tuch, President of Equinox.
Since 1998, Equinox has been providing their expertise in landscape architecture, land planning, environmental design, conservation, ecology, and sustainability to a wide range of public, private, and nonprofit entities and is recognized as a regional leader.
The year, Friends of Connect Buncombe has launched a $60,000 membership and sponsorship campaign to expand their their programs and work towards their mission to encourage and support the implementation of the Buncombe County Greenway and Master Trail Plan and the construction of greenways throughout Buncombe County through public awareness, community education, and fundraising activities.
