Favorite Species

Quercus alba, the White Oak - Native to the Eastern U.S. white oaks have unique leaves, beautiful shaggy bark, and are a great source of food and habitat for many wildlife species of our area. Growing up to 100ft tall and living for hundreds of years, these trees always fill me with a sense of wonder and awe.
