Equinox has an opening for a Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect.
The incumbent will provide design for stormwater, park, greenway, land planning, sustainable landscape design, and ecological restoration projects. Candidates should be dependable, resourceful, organized, self-motivated, and demonstrate effective oral and written communication, good interpersonal skills and a positive and respectful attitude.
The ideal candidate shall demonstrate the following skills:
BLA or MLA degree from an ASLA-accredited university
High level of proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign) & Microsoft Office
Excellent technical drawing skills (hand sketching ability a plus)
Tools and principles involved in production of plans, renderings, and other drawings
General knowledge of natural systems including plants and plant communities (especially native), geological and soil conditions, and mountain topography
General knowledge of construction, horticulture, and an interest in environmentally-responsible design
Ability to work across multiple projects of varying scale and complexity
