David Tuch gives presentation to ScaleUp WNC

Thanks to a $1.2 million award from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Equinox was part of the first cohort of ScaleUp WNC, led by AdvantageWest.  The program ‘offered the unique opportunity to help expand growth-oriented businesses and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the region.’

The program included some very interesting and successful regional businesses including BrightField Transportation Solutions, Ultimate Ice Cream, Hi-Wire Brewery, Farm to Home Milk, Lusty Monk Mustard, Carolina Native Nursery, Dieseljobs, Dolci di Maria, Mother Earth Produce, New Appalachia, Outrider USA, Simpleshot Shooting Sports, Strivven Media, The Filling Station Deli and Sub Shop and of course EQUINOX!

The culminating opportunity for these WNC Businesses was a showcase of the different organizations to each other, business leaders, and investors at an illuminating event at the Orange Peel.  All of the presentations were very interesting and let the audience see a glimpse of the challenges and opportunities that each of the businesses face.

We are pleased to share with you the presentation that our President, David Tuch gave at that event.  The video quality is not optimum, but you can get a sense for how Equinox helps our clients protect and conserve our region’s unique natural resources and develop land in a more sustainable way.
